When you wake up by the sound of trucks
when you rush to office among the smoke clouds
when you race to reach a place
just to start another race
You ask yourself "do i live or exist?"
when every second is counted
every breath you take is accounted
when the world is so micromanaged
the scene is over even before it is staged
you ask yourself "do i live or exist?"
when you dont find a moment to stand and stare
even at the mirror that gives you a glare
when you feel you are just another hare
among the racing hares
you ask yourself "do I live or exist?"
some day you will realise
when you have played all your dice
in preperation to find that peace
but were never close to this
then you ask yourself "did I live or exist?"
